Christie's Seafood Excellence

Sydney Fish Market (SFM) is located at Bank Street Pyrmont. It is the largest market of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and the world's second largest seafood market in terms of variety outside of Japan. A working fish market, SFM sources product both nationally and internationally and trades over 14,500 tonnes of seafood annually - with up to a hundred species traded every day.

The market hosts seafood retailers, a bottle shop, fruit and veg market, bakery, sushi bar, restaurants, gift shop and deli.

And we were there for late lunch, reached there around 3pm plus, and we noticed that most of the restaurant is already closed, we quickly picked our favourites! 

We had our lunch at Christie's Seafood Excellence. They served a myriad of freshly cooked seafood dishes, besides that, you can also select the seafoods from live tank or display, and get them to grill, fry or steam, have it freshly cooked the way you like it!

Since they are about to close when we arrived, we just managed to order the cooked seafood over the counter.

Everything were wholesome! Too bad we don't have enough time to try out more. The staffs already started to mop the floor & kept everything when we just started to eat, and a guy told me that they are going closing! haha...

If you love seafood, you probably must visit Sydney Fish Market, where you'll find Australia's finest fresh & live seafood. Most importantly, the price are acceptable! :D

p/s: the restaurant close at 4pm SHARP, so try to arrange for lunch there so that you can enjoy your seafood meal.
