Our little princess turns 2!

chloe01

It's been a while since I posted about Chloe, hmm, here are some update for our little gal, Chloe!

chloe02

We brought her for a long vacation to Europe in Jul-Aug '10. Spending about 3 weeks travelling around together with my family. The main itinerary for this trip is to attend my sister's convocation @ Newcastle. Chloe behaved very well during the whole trip & i guess she had so much fun throughout the trip! It is a bit tiring to travel with an 18 mth old baby for such a long period, luckily we have our family members along, at least everyone take turns to carry her and taking care of Chloe! So it's an amazing and unforgetful trip for all of us.

chloe03chloe04

Everytime I look back at pictures of Chloe's development, I can see her growing up so fast, she learned lotsa things now. She can recognize alphabets from A-Z, number from 1-10 and she loves singing. She can sing but not every single words of a song, it is amusing to watch her sing. She is able to feed herself now and sometime even refuse to let us feed her.

chloe05

We are so happy that Chloe is finally stay in KL with us permanently. But there is always pros & cons. The pros is we can look after her everyday. Well the cons is we have to send her to nursery + daycare during weekdays when we go to work. Poor Chloe got to stay so long hour at her nursery. According to her principal, Chloe is getting along much more better now. Hope she can settle in very soon & then tell me she likes to go to school. Hehe

chloe06

And now, how we celebrated her 2nd birthday? We ordered catering at home on Christmas day this time. Only family & relatives invited. Poor thing, Chloe had a fever before and during the party, but she can still smile for the camera when we ask her to take picture. Since Chloe likes Barney so much, we have a theme color for the party, which is purple, green & yellow . Not really compulsory to wear these colors though, it's just for fun! Of course, special thanks to those people who participate in this theme colors. Too bad the gifts are just for the kids. Haha

Last but not least, Happy Birthday to our little Chloe & may she stays healty & cutie always & also Happy New Year 2011 to everyone! Cheers & Lots of Love

Leonardo's Dining Room & Wine Loft

Leonardo's Dining Room

Leonardo's Dining Room & Wine Loft is a rustic Italian restaurant located at Jalan Bangkung, Bukit Bandaraya. When step into the restaurant, you will notice the interior bare brick walls.

Let's see what we ordered:

Appertizer: Salad

Scallop & Lychee Salad  RM 25

We started with Scallop & Lychee Salad with Chili Mint Vinaigrette as appertizer. It was light & refreshing. Strongly recommended!

Appertizer: Soup

Mixed Fresh Seafood Miso Broth RM 25

Main Course:

Hawaiian Pineaaple BBQ Pork Ribs RM 49

And main course, Hawaiian Pineaaple BBQ Pork Ribs served with roast potato & corn salsa. Hmm, we both don't really like it, simply because the pork ribs tasted different compared to local pork we normally ate.

Leonardo's Pizza - The Big Breakfast RM 30

also, Leonardo's Pizza served with bacon, egg, mushroom & tomato. Made to the “golden ratio” of approximately 1.618, first discovered by the greeks. Leonardo da Vinci proportioned his works to
approximate the golden ratio, believing it to be aesthetically pleasing. This crispy crusted pizza is a must-try.

Lastly, a tiramisu cake as dessert.

Leo's Tiramisu RM 23

Yes, my slice of birthday cake as usual. Hehe

cheers

We both had a really satisfying dinner here in Leonardo's Dining Room. Thanks Steven for buying me such a wondeful dinner there. I do enjoyed my day! :)

Restoran Makanan Laut Lemon Tree

Restoran Makanan Laut Lemon Tree - Craving for yummy seafoods? Here you go! My cousin was saying that there is a restaurant that served great "Seafood Porridge" in Matang, Taiping. We then checked with one of our friend from Taiping the name of the restaurant & guess who guide us there? Ha....of course, the GPS.

The restaurant is located in a secluded area. I dun think we can find this restaurant without GPS. For those who want to visit this restaurant, just type in Lemon Tree Matang from your device will do.

Let's see what we ordered:

Seafood Porridge for 08 persons @ RM 68

Oh yeah, this is a MUST-TRY dish from the restaurant. The broth was sweet & the seafoods are just so fresh. It tasted great!

Steamed Squid served with soy sauce

stir fried vege

scallop

aromatic & appetizing Kam Hiong Crab

Kung Pao Shark Meat

Overall, all the foods we ordered are wonderful. The total bill is RM 170. We had a wholesome & satisfying lunch in Lemon Tree Restaurant and all of us are very happy with the bill too! Hehehe

Reunion @ Bangsar Village 2

Get to know Reunion from one of my friend, Vanessa. She suggested to have lunch there. It is a chinese restaurant, located in 2nd floor, Bangsar Village 2.

Let's see what we ordered:

Kai Lan @ RM 17.80

Fried Hokkien Mee @ RM 16.80 (photo taken after served individually)

This is a must try dish. The gravy was great!

Turnip Cake @ RM 8.80

Hmmm, does anyone know any nice turnip cake in KL? Most of the turnip cake I tried before was just so so only, same as this one.

Besides that, we ordered quite some dim sums such as:

Har Gow @ RM 8.80

one of my favourite dim sum, fresh shrimp wrapped in thin & translucent skin. Yummy!

Siu Mai @ RM 7.80

Custard Bun @ RM 6.80

Hazel ordered this, apparently, it is not the right one she wanted to order, she was so dissapointed with this custard bun! Vanessa & I did tried it, hmmm, we don't really like it though (she thought this is egg yolk custard bun :p)

Steamed Pork Ribs @ RM 7.80

Overall, the foods we ordered was good especially the dim sum. It worth a try if you are cravings for dim sum around this area.

Chloe 17 Month Old Update

Chloe started calling me mummy when she was 13 mth old, whenever she sees me now, she wouldn't stop calling me. I'm just so touched.

I still remember the first time we brought Chloe to the playground, she was still a little baby, she has grown up now, she can now play on the slide by her ownself. Look how much she enjoyed it.

Although this Bumbo Baby Seat is a bit too small for her now, but sometimes she still loves to sit on it.

Here are some short clips for sharing:

Chloe favourite show

Barney is one of Chloe favourite show. She watched it everyday at least once, usually first thing she does once woke up in the morning is watch Barney...

She loves singing.

She loves playing with puppy too.

The Pool Villa with Loft features a private pool as well as a bathroom with a jacuzzi.

The Loft

The Villa is spacious & the bed is just so comfortable. In addition, the loft incorporates a LCD plus complete home theatre system.

Private Pool

This is a good choice if you & your kids were to enjoy the private pool. Just a small pool though but it is enough for Chloe at this moment. Hehe

The Swimming Pool

Steven & I do loves this resort. The resort is great & the most important thing is the staffs are so friendly.

A Short Trip to Phuket

Patong Street

It's been a while since i visited Phuket, the last time i'm there is about 5 years ago, which is in year 2005, joining our staff party with colleagues in Phuket. Wow, can't imagine it has been so many years already.

We brought Chloe along for this trip, this was her very first oversea's trip. She was very excited, I think she knew that we are bringing her to somewhere, "gai gai". Some of my friends asked me whether I can handle it, they don't think of taking their kids along when traveling because they think the kids might spoil their holiday mood Well, to me, at least this is not a "no more nextime" for Chloe! We can say that she behaved well during the whole trip.

getting ready to go & at the airport

Where we stayed?

It's already 1am & Chloe still awake

It was quite late when we arrived Phuket, after checked in to the hotel, we then went out for a walk. After a while, we realised that the street is not that suitable for a young baby gal like Chloe, we then go back to the hotel.

Patong Beach

I've got special offer for these 2 hotels from my Phuket colleague, both hotels are located in Patong Beach. (more) Just opposite each other.

1st day, we checked in Safari Beach Hotel

Safari Beach Hotel

We spend one night @ the Junior Suite Room. The room was spacious with super king size bed, it's an ideal room for a family with 02 adults & 02 children, or maybe 03 adults & 01 children. For those who looking for a hotel in Patong Beach, you may consider Safari Beach Hotel. The room was in good order & the breasfast was good as well!

2nd day, we checked in La Flora Hotel (more)

The Lobby

The resort was great but too bad we don't have much time to enjoy the facilities there.

What we eat?

We had our lunch @ Concaved Beach Restaurant @ Safari Beach Hotel. A restaurant facing the Andaman Sea. You can enjoy your meal by the beach.

Pat Thai

Steven ordered Pat Thai. Am not a fan of Pat Thai but I personally think that this one tasted good.

Seafood Fried Rice

I had Seafood Fried Rice. The seafoods are just so fresh.

Tom Yam Goong

Tom Yam Goong is one of the dishes you couldn't miss! The Tom Yam broth was rich & spicy! Two thumbs up for this!!!

We both had a satisfying lunch here. Simply mouth-watering!

daddy having massage by the beach

There are a few lady masseur out at the beach, you can spend an hour for massage @ just RM 30.

Where we go?

chloe keep focusing on the white tiger

Since there is noting much to do @ night with Chloe along, we then decided to visit Phuket FantaSea! For those who travel with their kids, Phuket FantaSea is one of the attraction I would recommend! Click here for more information.
