Tung Po Restaurant

Tung Po Restaurant, one of our favourite tai pai dong (大排档) that we surely visit whenever we visit Hong Kong. The restaurant is located in Java Road North Point, 2nd floor of Municipal Services Building. You will see a wet market on 1st floor before you reach the restaurant.

The restaurant is always crowded, so reservation is a MUST! Their reservation taking period is start from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm, after which they will not entertaint any call. You got to make sure you call up the correct time. :)

One of the specialty of Tung Po is they served beer in chill porcelain bowls. It cost around RM 4+ for the big bottle Heineken.

Let's see what we ordered:

Sauteed Golden Prawn with Egg Yolk. Steven & I love this very much! The prawn was perfectly cooked with the egg yolk. It was heavenly tasty! We have tried the same dish in Malaysia but the taste still cant match the one from Tung Po. This is a must try!

Fried Pig Feet is one of their signature dish. It's crispy on the outside & chewy on the inside. Those who like pig feet, you will definately like this.

Steamed Chicken with lotus leaf and Chinese Wine (with sticky rice).

Overall, the foods served at Tung Po was great! Besides, they also claimed that all their meal are 100% without MSG.
