The Cave Couple Cafe & Restaurant @ SS2

The restaurant’s owner was fascinated by the Anatolian Houses, a cave hotel during his stay in Cappadocia, when he returned, he opened The Cave Couple Cafe & Restaurant. As you first stepped into the restaurant, you will have a kinda feeling like you have entered to a different world. The interior design of the restaurant looks unique with the man-made rocks and dim lights.
There is a sofa for diner to sit while waiting for a cave room & there are also tables for you to have drinks.
Each cave is attached with a satin curtain in order for diners to have private dining. Besides that, there is a service bell attached for diners to call the waiters for orders and bills. The Cave Couple Cafe & Restaurant offers a wide range of Chinese, Western & Japanese cuisine, either ala carte or set meals (Western Dinner Set Menu & Japanese Bento Set Menu, both @ RM 46++ per set). I had a Western Dinner Set.

The Spicy Seafood Soup tasted a bit weird, it doesn't taste like seafood soup at all, it taste more like spicy japanese miso soup. Their Spicy Seafood Spaghetti was pretty good. It is served with a combination of seafood, mussel, prawn, squid & fish with sambal. For those who likes spicy food, I would recommend this dish. Hot 'n' Spicy Pasta (spaghetti or fettucine). As for Strawberry Cheesecake, we both don't really like it. Sort of 'out of taste'.
Steven ordered Percik Spring Chicken, an oven baked marinated spring chicken with traditional sauce. The taste was not good as the chicken is not marinated well enough & the chicken meat was very dry.Overall, we are not really satisfied with the foods there though. We will give a thumbs up for the ambience but not for the foods we ordered. They have more rooms to improve i would say. In fact, there is a slogan for The Cave Couple Cafe & Restaurant, "everyday is your valentine's day"! Perhaps, you may visit this cafe to experience a romantic dining in a cave room.
